Barold and Bobo

Five years ago we crossed paths at a children’s clothing store - the perfect location for what ended up being a first date of sorts. Soon enough we were so deep in conversation that Barry had been gently moved from one side of the room to the other by Eilidh’s up close and personal chatting methods. Not put off by this - second and third dates were offered at Barry’s house where he cooked the most wonderful food and drew Eilidh in with his soft furnishings and big telly. Eilidh’s “I’m probably better at cooking than you” statement was soon blown out of the water, but to this day it’s a crown she’s happy to have handed over.

Two dogs, one global pandemic, one 8 year old Bea and lots of adventures later we are a solid family unit who, to the naked eye initially seemed like an ‘opposites attract’ couple, love sharing the simple joys in life and are so excited to extend this love to our friends and family on our special day.

Being a nerdy household at heart, Barry proposed in the most wonderfully nerdy manner (proposal by geo cache!) on the banks of Loch Tay with Autti the dog by our sides, to the total shock of Eilidh (see photo below for evidence) and we are so delighted to be completing the journey in the same location surrounded by the beautiful nature this area has to offer.

Bobo and Barold

With a shared passion for buying clothes (we really shouldn’t, but really want), video games, true crime telly shows, countryside fresh air, great food and long drives with carefully selected playlists - we have become best pals over the years - tackling the ups and downs that life throws as a team.

Barry and Eilidh, aka Barold and Bobo, want to ensure our wedding is not only a day to celebrate our love but extended love with and within our closest people.

And the rest is history
